María Jiménez Sequeiros
Her career encompasses art and design, both in teaching and professional practice. She directed the Marta Moore Gallery in Seville (1990-93) after studying Fine Arts. In 1994, she designed footwear for the Cibeles Fashion Week and, shortly after, moved to Barcelona to study interior design at the Massana School, collaborating with Josep Font on fashion accessories (1996-2000). She worked as an interior designer at Taller Obert with Arnaldo Basadona (2000-2010) and began teaching. Currently, she teaches at the Massana School and develops her artistic work in her studio. She holds a PhD in Fine Arts (2016) from the University of Barcelona.
He collaborated with Red House Art on an art consultancy project for the 5-star Grand Luxe Los Monteros Hotel in Marbella, creating methacrylate sculptures that extend immaterially in their own shadows across the walls of the hotel's common areas. A true milestone in contemporary art for hotels.
